Wolverhampton Wanderers have beaten Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion to the signing of midfielder Tongo Doumbia on a season-long loan.
The Mali
 international has moved to Molineux from French clubRennes with a view to a permanent deal as Stale Solbakken makes his third senior signing of the summer.
Doumbia had also been linked with Premier League West Brom but he trained with Wolves, who were relegated last season, on Sunday and could now make his debut in Tuesday's friendly against Shrewsbury. here
