Rodgers to decide on Aquilani

Brendan Rodgers says he will make a decision on Alberto Aquilani's future this week after the Liverpool midfielder's agent denied reports that Fiorentina had made a bid.

Aquilani is determined to prove his worth to Rodgers during pre-season after spending the last two years on loan back in Italy atJuventus and AC Milan respectively.
